Inhale – Exhale
A 90min workshop suitable for those with no previous experience. The workshop is structured in way that allows participants to experience the benefits of a yoga practice whilst also learning how and why the practice helps. When we talk about Yoga practice, we typically mean both breath work and movement. The workshop starts by introducing the most basic and the most effective breath techniques. Explaining as we go how the breath calms the nervous system and why calming the nervous system relaxes the mind and body. Introducing gentle movement while teaching body-awareness means that any body of any ability will benefit and learn skills to take home. Finishing the practice with a guided flow switches the focus from learning and allows enjoyment of the moment to be fully experienced.
Yoga and Art
A 3hr workshop: Suitable for those new to Yoga, new to Art or those new to Yoga with Art. Tune in, warm up and let go with a gentle breath focused meditation and mindful movement practice. With a softened mindset release some hidden artistic talent onto canvas under the fun and gentle guidance of our guest Art instructor. Choose to take home a new talent or leave behind an old fear released.
Yoga and Live Drumming
A 90min workshop suitable for those with some yoga experience or good level of fitness. Starting gentle we build to a dynamic rhythmical practice to the sound of Live Hangdrum. At the peak we will be moving in sync to some fun and uplifting sequences. Finishing on a high with a group drumming finale. A great Friday night starter to a weekend away.
