SUP to Beezies Island for Yoga Breakfast : Sunday 6th June 8am

Outdoor Yoga in Sligo is the ideal way to release stress and renew and refresh your energy reserves. Paddle gently across the tranquil waters of Lough Gill, Co. Sligo on stand-up-paddle board and enjoy a stress releasing outdoor yoga and breakfast on Beezies Island. This excursion has been an annual favourite and we are super excited to see it return again in 2021. This has proven to be a wonderful way for both experienced and first time paddlers to discover the joys of drifting across water.  The pace is slow and contemplative, you can chat amiably with fellow paddlers or embrace the stillness with a simple meditation or intention in mind.

We stop off on the magical Beezies Island where you will be guided through an uplifting and stress-releasing yoga flow.  These yoga sessions are more than just Asana as Blaithin shares her understanding and insights into psychology of Yoga and the psychology of the Outdoors. For those looking for an extra wellbeing boost, she also provides the option of receiving distant-Reiki healing while you practice.

Breakfast is had after the Yoga session and is always a very well received selection of fruit yoghurt scones and choice of teas and coffee. Just as the sharing of food in ancient times sealed the bond of a community the eating together is not just to fill our tummies. Allowing Lightness and Laughter to be the thread that weaves us together we share stories and fill the memory bank with the unique energy of the group.

On this Island Adventure we tap into our inner awesomeness and find positive intentions from this place of lightness and wisdom. You may wish to bring a small notebook with you to capture any thoughts or intentions that you would like to bring home with you.

No previous SUP or Yoga experience is required, all instruction is provided on the day. SUP guided by qualified guides from Northwest Adventure Tours

COVID-19 guidelines will be in place at all times. Please check your email in advance of your booked session. SUP equipment is provided, own yoga mat is advised.
