Adventure and Wellbeing Excursions

Based in Strandhill Co. Sligo, beach yoga sessions are a regular passtime when the weather allows us.  Participants get to take in the rising Sun energy with 7am sessions or share a post-yoga glow with new friends at the cannon as the sun sets on another glorious Strandhill evening. Beach Yoga sessions are weather dependant so updates are delivered via text.  If you would like to be added to the update list simple text your ‘full name’ and ‘outdoor yoga’ to 0877782261.

Adventure and Wellbeing Excursions so far have included Yoga-Hikes, SUP-to-Yoga and Yoga-to-Surf. Co. Sligo is however, bubbling with a diverse range of activity providers, rock-climbing, biking, kayaking, free-diving and more, new and exciting ideas and collaborations are developing each week.

Yoga Hike Excursions across the hills of Co. Sligo are a popular day out.  There are three grades of Hike to choose from to suit your preferred days experience. Grade C being the easiest and considered more of a ramble with Grade A being the toughest containing steeper climbs and requiring a good level of fitness.  Participants are treated to a short meditation and given tools on how to ‘ground and protect’ on the way up. The final yoga stretch is taken at an ideallic view point, embracing the space we have within as well as all around us.  This is a fun and amicable day out that will leave you feeling both relaxed and refreshed.

The annual SUP-Yoga Picnic sees participants walking on water across to one of Sligo’s under-explored beauties, Beezies Island on Lough Gill.  On Beezies we enjoy a high flying Acro-Yoga session followed by deeply relaxing vinyasa wind down. Superfood salads and Kambucha refreshments are provided by Sweet Beat Café.

Yoga-to-Surf A surf lesson in Strandhill can now be complimented by a pre-surf beach yoga practice. Adding the beach session before getting into the water helps practicing surfers find confidence and sets the tone of finding joy on the waves regardless of level or previous experience.

What my clients say?

SUP to Yoga

I was hesitant about coming out and have never tried stand-up paddling before but because it was Blaithin hosting the trip I felt brave enough to try and knew I would be looked after.

These sessions never fails to relax me, no matter how much I might hesitate coming out it’s always worth it, something special about doing Yoga outdoors as well!
