Carrowkeel Solstice Yoga & Hike

21 June, 2019 @ 8:00 pm 11:00 pm

Morning exercise

This ramble up the back hills to Carrowkeel will bring us past a vanishing village and onto the ancient Carrowkeel tombs pre-dating the pyramids.  The hike is classified Grade C due it being an easy paced ramble mostly on well-defined trails.  The Yoga session is beginner friendly and will include guided meditations to align us with solstice sun energy and the ancient wisdom of the tombs.  No Mats required, snack and beverage provided. Bring water and extra bites of your preference.

Some extra insight:

Friday 21st June is the longest Day of the Year and a good time to start letting ‘stuff’ go! You have all that you need at this turning point in the annual cycle.
This is a nice opportunity to take stock of all that you have achieved so far this year and all the projects that you have set seed for. Imagining that everything you have set in motion so far is everything that you need for the next 6 months. With that idea allow yourself a moment of gratitude towards yourself for all your hard work. Looking forward take note of any efforts that are not nourishing your souls desires and contemplate ways to respectfully ‘let go’.
This Friday we are returning to Cairn G at Carrowkeel to witness the last light hit the back stone and direct the Suns energy into the earth. We will in turn connect with the suns energy and feed our foundations with all the sustenance that we need to complete this years cycle
