Each week there are regular Beach Yoga Sessions in Strandhill. Sheltered by ancient dunes, Shelly valley has been discovered to be the perfect secret soft sand studio, just out of sight of the main beach. When practicing here there is a rhythm in the sound of the ocean that you can set your breath to and whether you are new to yoga or a long time practicing you will find this a uniquely uplifting experience.

Each month takes us on adventures to different stunning Sligo locations, a landscape that was made to be inhaled. There are a range of mountain hikes to choose from depending on your preference or need for exertion. Gentle rambles take us to hill top lakes, whilst epic climbs take us to breath-taking cliff top vistas. The first of these excursions and still the annual favorite is stand-up-paddle board excursion across Lough Gill to the magical Beezies Island. We hope this year you can come along with us.

Your Wellbeing Warrior is a new name for something that has long been my passion. Growing up in Sligo, surrounded by mountains, lakes and the Atlantic ocean, frequent outdoor excursions were not seen as unusual. Heading outdoors, being in the fresh air, doing fun and uplifting activities has become the common denominator through all of life’s highs and lows.
Taking the Yoga practice outside and into nature feels like a natural progression with both practicing yoga and being outdoors offering the same opportunities to release stress, renew energy and restore self-connection. It is this richness of opportunity here in the Northwest that has made it possible to create the diverse range of outdoor wellbeing excursions to suit all abilities.

Outdoor and Adventure Yoga excursions provide the opportunity for those interested in yoga to indulge their adventurous spirit. For those of you more adventurous, you get to learn the benefits of breathwork, mindful movement and meditation in the landscape and environment that best feeds your soul. With over 3 years involvement in the Adventure Sligo Network, 10 years teaching yoga, a lifetime of exploring the land here and a certainty that I will always be on the look out for new uplifting adventures, it only makes sense that I take you along with me.

I am trained in the therapeutic arts of Yoga, Reiki and Massage and I provide these life-enhancing activities to groups and individuals. Combining wellbeing sessions and the great outdoors is my personal passion and thanks to the ease of collaboration with local activity providers there are a variety of outdoor and wellness adventures that you can entice family, friends or work mates to join in on. Adventures in Wellbeing on Wild Atlantic Way

The Wild Atlantic Way is the World’s longest defined coastal touring route. It’s inspiring, invigorating and renewing.

From its delightfully surfable waves crashing on broad golden shores to the rolling green hills and misty mountaintops this is a county that attracts a distinct breed of adventure-loving traveler. And in 2018, Sligo was named as world’s best holiday destination by Vogue Magazine beating out some of the most tropical destinations from across the globe. The decision came down to British Vogue Daily Editor Scarlett Conlon who fell in love with the Yeats county.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable coastal break, from stunning beaches of Strandhill Beach and Rosses Point, to the green hills, table mountain and the Glencar Waterfall – join me for my outdoor adventures next time you are visiting Sligo. Because I am an experienced yoga and meditation teacher, I always ensure everyone in my group finds something to love. I am clear on my goals and easy to follow in my practices. Whether indoors or outdoors, understanding group dynamics is at the core of each activity ensuring all ages and abilities are catered for. The unique combination of regular meditation. yoga and adventures will leave you feeling grounded, inspired and calm.

Growth happens outside our comfort zone. This is where we meet our new experience. So whether you wish to change your life style and you are ready to put in the work, or just visiting and looking for tourist alternatives, join me.

Thank you so much for the Yoga session in the dunes last week. We absolutely loved it and it was a highlight of the holiday. There is something very special about how you run it. It was so calming and uplifting, its hard to describe.

Thank you so much for coming and doing yoga with our group. Participants have noticed they sleep better after having done yoga and one lady commented on having better circulation, her hands and feet not as cold. We really enjoyed the sessions and looking forward to having you back again.
